About the Nourishment Retreat
Spring is a season of renewal — an invitation to clear what no longer serves you and intentionally cultivate what you want to grow. Internal Cultivation is a nourishing weekend retreat designed to transform your relationship with food while reconnecting you with your body, energy, and inner guidance. Held less than one hour from Denver in a luxury Colorado home with an on-site sauna, hot tub, and cold plunge, the weekend is intentionally structured to support rest, digestion, and nervous system regulation from the very beginning.
Co-led by Callie Phelps, who guides yoga, meditation, Reiki, energy protection, and ritual, and Amanda Shumaker, registered dietitian specializing in women’s relationships with food, this retreat blends education with embodied experience. You’ll explore how nervous system states influence eating, learn to recognize hunger and fullness cues through the HALT framework, and participate in a five-senses savory meal designed to shift you into a parasympathetic, receptive state before nourishment. Through daily yoga, restorative practices, individual Reiki sessions, gratitude work, and intentional rituals, you’ll release emotional patterns around food and stress, cultivate embodied confidence, and leave with simple, sustainable practices you can integrate long after the retreat ends. Amanda Shumaker
LD, RDN, CPT
Amanda is a registered dietitian, personal trainer, and founder of Mind Body Nutrition. She specializes in women’s hormonal health, sustainable weight loss, and the mind-body connection, helping clients build habits that support both physical and nervous system health.
At the retreat, Amanda will guide you through how food and the nervous system work together to shape energy, digestion, and your relationship with your body. She’ll explore the vagus nerve and parasympathetic nutrition, and share practical, nourishing strategies using fermented foods and antioxidant-rich meals to calm inflammation, support gut health, and create a more grounded, connected approach to eating.


Callie Phelps

Callie is a yoga teacher, advanced reiki practitioner, and retreat facilitator specializing in embodiment, nervous system regulation, and energy awareness. Through yoga, meditation, and ritual-based practices, she supports women in reconnecting with their bodies, cultivating self-trust, and building sustainable habits rooted in presence rather than pressure.
At the retreat, Callie will guide daily yoga and meditation, energy protection practices, and individual Reiki sessions to support rest, regulation, and integration. Her work creates space to slow down, release stored stress, and strengthen embodied confidence, helping participants tune into their internal cues and carry a deeper sense of clarity and grounding into everyday life.
Investment & Payment Options
Your investment includes three nights of accommodations, all retreat programming, daily yoga and meditation, nutrition education and experiential meals, workshops, ritual experiences, and individual Reiki sessions, along with access to all on-site wellness amenities including the sauna, hot tub, and cold plunge. Transportation to and from the retreat location is not included.

Shared Space Bed — $900 per person
Individual bed in a shared room or communal sleeping space.

Shared King Bed — $1,800 total for two people
Ideal for friends or family members who wish to share a king bed. Pricing remains $900 per person.

Private King Room — $1,250 per person
A private king bedroom for those desiring additional personal space and quiet.
Please note that all retreat registrations are final and non-refundable. Because unforeseen circumstances such as illness or weather can arise, we strongly recommend purchasing travel or trip protection insurance to safeguard your investment. Full cancellation and refund details are outlined in our policy below in registration.
HSA & FSA Payment Options
We’re happy to offer the option to use HSA or FSA funds toward your retreat registration. Eligible participants may use HSA or FSA funds for all or a portion of their payment, with the remaining balance paid separately if needed.
To keep the process simple, you’ll select your preferred payment method when completing the retreat registration form. After you register, you’ll receive an email with a secure payment link to complete your payment via Zelle or credit card. If you’re using HSA or FSA funds, you’ll be able to apply them at that time based on your individual eligibility.
Please note that eligibility for HSA or FSA reimbursement varies by plan, and participants are responsible for confirming coverage with their provider. We’re happy to provide any documentation you may need to submit for reimbursement.
